We believe in the rural poor's limitless potential. Mission Humanity creates a first-of-its-kind global network centred on women dedicated to long-term development in any community where poverty exists. Mission Humanity gathers women into Self-Help Groups (SHGs), develops their skills, and strengthens their livelihood systems. Mission Humanity was conceived as a culmination of efforts to initiate development works to empower communities in remote rural areas. Its goal is to put systematic effort into socio-economic development by building poor communities' capabilities, promoting and strengthening their institutions, and enabling them to rise out of poverty and meaningfully participate in the global economy. Women from vulnerable homes feel that they can be change agents through group solidarity, support, and training, as well as with each new skill mastered. This sense of agency encourages them to break free from their old positions and work together to improve the village and society. By ensuring affordable, reliable, and sustainable energy, Mission Humanity works with rural communities to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals of No Poverty, Zero Hunger, Gender Equality, Good Health & Well-Being, and Climate Change Resilient Regions.
